Simpa Adaba

Simpa Adaba is the Head of Wealth Management for Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited, a position he has held since June 2016.

Simpa Adaba has over 17 years banking experience spanning Wealth Management, Financial Markets, Corporate and Commercial Banking, Audit, Controls and Operations. Prior to assuming his current role, he had responsibilities for Wealth Markets Products and Sales for Nigeria and West Africa where he is credited with delivering strong, consistent year on year growth and client treasury solutions to Commercial and Retail Clients over the last 7 years in spite of challenging economic conditions in recent periods across the sub-region.

He has also held positions in Financial Markets and has broad experience across Trading, Asset & Liability Management and Financial Market Sales.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Accounting from the University of Jos, Nigeria and has attended series of Leadership trainings.

Simpa worked with Fidelity Bank Plc before joining SCB Nigeria in 2003.
