Albert Kinuma
Albert Kinuma is currently the African Partnerships Lead at Segovia, a Fintech company based out of New York focusing on payments and international remittances.
He was previously at the IFC (World bank group) where he was a Digital Financial Services specialist supporting financial institutions with their mobile money operations. Albert served at VISA Inc as the senior director, emerging digital markets in charge of MVISA the first interoperable branchless banking mobile solution in the world. Albert Kinuma also served at MTN where he held various managerial positions with the last one being General Manager for MTN Business. In 2010, he launched the first mobile money deployment in Rwanda as the Head of MTN Mobile Money.
Albert also serves as a board member of RICTA (Rwanda ICT agency) and he is also on the board of the Kigali Public Library (KPL).
Albert has a masters in management from KEDGE business school and he speaks French, English, Spanish, Kinyarwanda and Ethiopian (Amharic).
