Louis de Montfort MUJYAMBERE

Louis de Montfort Mujyambere, Business Development and Commercial Director, has been working with COGEBANQUE since 2002 soon after the Bank’s establishment. He arrived at COGEBANQUE with a strong finance education, coupled with a keen desire towards business development teams.

Starting off as a Junior Credit Analyst, Montfort’s vast Credit Risk Analysis skills and terrific colleague and client testimonials to his superiors were the main factors leading to his quick promotion through the ranks. His promotions saw him function as Chief Credit Analyst, Deputy Director of Credit, Director of Credit and lastly Business Development and Commercial Director.

Louis de Montfort Mujyambere’s eagerness to promote entrepreneurship within Rwanda led to his appointment as the first ever Business Development Director at COGEBANQUE bringing about a synergising of Retail and Corporate elements within the Bank. Moreover his ability to understand his client’s needs and tailor packages which maximise their assets, helped the Bank grow its Deposits and Credit portfolio.

Montfort recognises the importance of Leadership, and thus thrives to lead by example and become a role model for younger employees within the Bank who hope to follow in his footsteps.
