Arun S. Mathur

Mr. Arun Mathur joined the bank’s Board of Directors in July 2012. He chairs the Board Administration, Procurement & Remuneration Committee and is also a member of various Board committees of the Bank. Mr. Mathur holds a B.Tech (Hons) degree and started his banking career in 1976 with the State Bank of India. He joined the Grindlays Bank, India in 1982, and worked in their office in Nairobi, Kenya from 1990 to 1994. He then worked for several banks in Eastern Africa until he joined I&M Bank Ltd in 2000 and was promoted as CEO in 2002. Arun S. Mathur is also a director of I&M Bank Ltd in Kenya, Bank One Ltd in Mauritius, I&M Bank (T) Ltd in Rwanda as well as Kenswitch in Kenya.
