Hector Mutijima

Hector Mutijima has vast experience working the financial services sector. He has held various senior management posts for over 13 years, previously with the former Housing Bank of Rwanda, then with the Development Bank of Rwanda. Prior to the current post of Senior Manager in charge of Energy Investments, he occupied respectively the posts of Director of Corporate Affairs and of Director of Risk Management and Compliance at BRD. Before joining the Housing Bank of Rwanda, Hector Mutijima worked in the financial platform and shared services at CGU SA/NV and Johnson Controls Inc. respectively.

Hector is a Certified Professional Banker. He holds a Bachelors Degree of Science in International Business Administration from the United States International University, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Rwanda.
