Kgabo Elias Mahoai

Kgabo Elias Mahoai is the deputy director-general: Human Resources, a position he has held since October 2011. He holds a BA degree in Pedagogics and BEd degrees from the University of the North, together with a MA degree from the California State University Sacramento. He has also completed a programme in economics and public finance, and a management development programme at the University of South Africa. Kgabo Elias Mahoai began his career in the public service in 1987 with the Department of Education as an educator and was later promoted to the position of head: Educational Management Support. In 1999 he was appointed deputy director: Administration in the Office of the Premier in Limpopo and then moved to the Department of Health and Welfare as a director: Executive Support Services.

Other leadership positions include appointments as chief director: Social Security, serving a five-year term as a member of the Public Service Commission, and working as the general manager responsible for marketing and communications for Trade and Investment Limpopo.
