Jacob Hlatshwayo
Jacob Hlatshwayo is the chief financial officer at the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. He holds a BCom degree from the University of Cape Town and BCompt (Hons) from the University of South Africa. Mr Hlatshwayo started his career as a trainee accountant and later as supervisor with Deloitte and Touche before moving to Eskom first as a business service manager and then as chief auditor.
Other professional roles have included serving as acting general manager with SANTA, as finance audit manager and internal business process specialist with ARIVIA. KOM and as director in the National Treasury.
Jacob Hlatshwayo is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Advancement of Black Accountants of South Africa, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
