AATISH RAMKARAN

Aatish is a veteran solution architect who’s often been described as ‘contagiously passionate’. He thrives on discovering innovative solutions to complex problems and has been integrating and enhancing financial services for nearly a decade. He’s an active blockchain researcher and well known speaker at conferences and events focusing on this emerging technology. He is dedicated to demystifying the inner workings of technology and dispelling jargon to improve accessibility and understanding.

In March 2018, he co-founded the Blockchain Entrepreneurs Club South Africa (BECSA) as a platform to:

• educate the public,
• create networking opportunities for entrepreneurs whilst,
• remaining socially responsible.

BECSA advocates for research and application of blockchain technology and organises online and in-person events around the country. Through these interventions, it’s catalysing the growth of an ecosystem of entrepreneurs, startups, corporates, academics and regulators.
