Joseph Albert Danso Jnr

Joseph Albert Danso Jnr. represents the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) on the PBC Limited Board of Directors.

Joseph Albert Danso Jnr joined the Ghana National Construction Corporation in 1963 as a Civil Engineer. From 1966 to 1989 Joseph Albert Danso Jnr. worked with the State Construction Corporation and rose through the ranks from the position of Project Engineer/Manager to Regional Manager, Chief Engineer (Roads), Deputy Managing Director and finally to Managing Director, a position he occupied for thirteen (13) years.

He has also served on various Boards including the following:

1. Ghana Highways Authority as Board Chairman;
2. St. Acquinas Senior High School as Board Member;
3. Ghana Manganese Corporation as Board Member;
4. Precast Spun Concrete Product as Board Chairman and
5. Saltpond Ceramics Company Limited as Board Member amongst others.

He has attended various post graduate courses both at home and abroad including the Chief Executive Programme at GIMPA, the Chief Executive Programme at the Irish Management Institute, Dublin, International Courses in Hydraulic and Sanitary Engineering from the Delft Technological University in the Netherlands and Courses in Road Techniques organized by ASTEF under the French Technical Co-operation.

During his tenure as Chairman of the Ghana Highways Authority Board, a lot of trunk roads were constructed under the road development Programme launched by the Government. Notable among these include the Kasoa to Yamoransa Road, Tema to Sogakope Road, Kumasi to Techiman Road, Apedwa to Bunso Road, Nkawkaw By-Pass (Phases 1 & 2), Asankragwa to Enchi Road amongst others totaling about forty-three (43) Roads.

Mr. Joseph Albert Danso Jnr. is a well-travelled man both nationally and internationally. He enjoys walking, soccer and golf. He is currently the Managing Director of Marsdan Construction Ltd.
