Azmina Mulji
Azmina Mulji joined Credit Bank PLC in February 2014 as the Head of Human Resources & Administration. Her education credentials include a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Heriot Watt University, U.K. and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from the University of Nairobi. Azmina Mulji holds a post-graduate diploma in law and is a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya (IHRM-K), the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) as well as the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK). She has over 16 years of management experience in various leadership positions.
In her current role, Azmina supports the Bank’s business and service units through recruitment, performance management, job design, reward and recognition, learning and development and staff welfare. As a member of the Executive Committee, she is also partly responsible for supporting the Banks strategy with regard to bottom-line performance. She has a team that directly reports to her but is responsible for the management and welfare of the entire staff complement numbering over 160.
Prior to her current appointment, Azmina worked for RSM Ashvir as the Human Resources & Legal Manager providing human resources and legal advisory services in both the private and public sectors conducting legal due diligence, structure analysis, HR audits, developing HR policies and procedures manuals, reviewing HR procedures, and compliance to laws (employment, company and others, where applicable) to leading players in the telecommunications, IT, construction, retail, banking and micro-finance sectors. She has also worked with Akamba Public Road Services Ltd, House of Manji Limited and Equatorial Commercial Bank (then known as Southern Credit Bank) in various other capacities
