Dr. Mohamed Hersi Warsame

Dr. Mohamed Hersi Warsame is a Chief Executive Officer of Dhow Financial Ltd. Previously he worked as a Professor at Howard University Business School. He also worked as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer at Onpoint Africa Holdings, LLC. Before that he worked as Financial Consultant at People’s Bank of Zanzibar, also worked as Adjunct Professor at Morgan State University and worked as Doctoral Research Assistant / Lecturer at Morgan State University. Dr. Warsame holds a PhD in Business Administration –Morgan State University, Baltimore Maryland, and M.Sc. In Finance – University of Strathclyde, Glasgow United Kingdom and B.Sc. (Honours) in Business Administration – Stuart School of Business, Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago, United State of America. He is a Non – Executive Member, a Chairman of Credit Committee and a member of Risk Committee.
