Maurice Kahara

Maurice Kahara has been appointed to the position of Chief Commercial Officer reporting to the Group Managing Director, overseeing the Sales and Marketing initiatives across the segments for the entire Group. Kahara joined Longhorn in September 2001 and has had an illustrious career spanning 16 years. He started working at Longhorn as an Editorial Assistant and as he grew in his career, held positions of increased responsibility with the most recent one being that of National Sales Manager – Kenya. In this position, he has overseen the growth of Kenya Sales turnover by 46% over the last three years.

Maurice Kahara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Communication & Linguistics) from Maseno University and is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Corporate & Business Management at Kenya Methodist University.
