Moses Auta

Moses Auta has been appointed to the position of Head of Publishing for the Group reporting to the Group Managing Director. Auta has held this position in acting capacity since April 2017 and has demonstrated high level leadership and commercial skills and the Board of Directors is confident in his ability to take the Publishing
Department to greater heights in Kenya. Auta joined Longhorn in December 2002 as an Editorial Assistant. He has served diligently in the Publishing Department with his most recent position being that of Editorial Manager – Humanities. Over the last five months, he oversaw the submission of Grade One and Two of Communication
and Maths in Senegal and getting 100% approval; Phase Three Submission in Rwanda where Primary approvals, (English, Maths and Science), were achieved for the first time as well attaining only-approved status in five titles in Secondary (Kiswahili, Maths, Biology, Geography and Literature; Submission of 120 levellized readers to KICD for approval to be used in ECDE 1 and 2 and Lower Primary to mention but a few. Auta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Sciences from Moi University and is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy Degree in Communication Studies from the same University.
