Joyce Macharia

Joyce Macharia was appointed Managing Director of Almasi Beverages Limited in October 2014.

Joyce Macharia has more than 22 years’ experience in the FMCG sector servicing in various capacities within Mount Kenya Bottlers Limited where she previously served as Managing Director.

In the financial year 2014/2015, Centum acquired additional shareholding in Almasi Beverages, which is the holding company of three Coca Cola bottling plants namely, Mount Kenya Bottlers, Kisii Bottlers and Rift Valley Bottlers, bringing the total shareholding in Almasi to 50.95%. This shifted Almasi Beverages from an Associate Company to a Subsidiary Company of Centum.
