Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi
Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi is founder and Chairman of Juli Plc, the first indigenous company quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He is a former Minister of Health, past Chairman of Oodua Investment Company Ltd, Distinguished Fellow Institute of Directors, Fellow Institute of Management, Fellow West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacy, pioneer President, Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy and Chairman MTN Foundation.
An accomplished pharmacist, lawyer and strategist, he graduated as a pharmacist in 1965 from the University of Ife. He was the overall best student in the Law school class of 1987 after graduating in law from the University of Lagos 1986. Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi attended course 12 of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos. He is on the Governing Council and past President of the Institute.
A key player in many private sector organizations, he is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce. He is the first District Governor of Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria. He was the first African to serve as Secretary General of the World Students Organization based in Leiden, Holland, where his responsibilities included forming and nurturing National Unions of University students all over the world. In the process, he travelled over some 143 countries and became multilingual.
He received national awards of MFR in 1986 and OFR in 2002.
He is married to Julia Omosalewa Adelusi-Adeluyi and they are blessed with successful children and grandchildren.
