Patricia Adala

Patricia Adala holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Philosophy (Economics) from University of Nairobi. Also, she has attended key trainings & workshops in various areas including privatization of public enterprises, strategic leadership and change management, oversight roles in public boards, good corporate governance, market analysis, aero politics and strategic management giving her a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years in economic planning and analysis of development issues.

Patricia Adala is the executive Director of Raydoll Tours and Travel. Previously, she worked with Kenya Airways as the General Manager Marketing (Ag) & Manager Passenger Sales, Kenya Tourist Development Corporation (KTDC) where she rose through ranks to Loans Manager and the Ministry of Finance and Planning as the Planning Officer, Housing and Social Services. She is a commissioner on Privatization Commission and serves on the Boards of Bar Olengo Secondary School, Ngiya Girls High School, St. Johns Community Centre – Pumwani and Parochial Church Council – ACK where she is the Chairperson of the strategic Plan Committee.
Previously, she held different positions on the Boards of: Women Enterprise Fund, Kenya Revenue Authority & Kenya Tourist Development Corporation. Mrs. Adala holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Philosophy (Economics) from University of Nairobi. She started her career in Government as a Planning Officer in the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and thereafter held various senior positions in public institutions including the Kenya Tourist Development Corporation where she served as a Projects and Loans Manager and in Kenya Airways, as Ag General Manager Marketing
Mrs. Adala has previously sat on the Boards of Kenya Revenue Authority, The Women Enterprise Fund and as a Commission Member in the Privatization Commission, where she served for two 3-year terms as the Chairman of the Steering Committee on the Privatization of the Public Sector Owned Sugar Companies. In that capacity she obtained first hand exposure to the key issues affecting the development of the sugar industry both globally and locally and was responsible for devising some possible strategic approaches to solving the many challenges facing the industry in Kenya
Mrs. Adala has attended many key trainings & workshops in various areas including privatization of public enterprises, strategic leadership and change management, oversight roles in public boards, Corporate governance, Enterprise Risk Management, market analysis, and strategic management giving her a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years in economic planning and analysis of development issues.
She is the Executive Director of Raydoll Tours and Travel Ltd, a family business she has successfully operated for the last 21 years.
