Felisberto Manuel Kaliongo Tchitungu
Felisberto Manuel Kaliongo Tchitungu has over five years of experience working as a secondary school English teacher. He is currently working for a nonprofit organization called ANELTA (the Angolan English Language Teachers’ Association) as the secretary for communication and public affairs, where he focuses on the improvement of the English language by teaching in the Benguela Province. Felisberto holds a BSc in Applied Linguistics from the Katyavala Bwila University in Angola. In 2014, Felisberto volunteered to work on the countdown of the Angola population census. Felisberto Manuel Kaliongo Tchitungu organized a YALI Learns event on Understanding Climate Change, with more than 50 attendees, between university students and university teachers at Mediateca de Benguela conference hall in 2015. Upon the completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Felisberto intends to continue his work, and this time working with public institutions to provide better services in different sectors to the population in Angola.
