Ludo Chube

Ludo Chube has a rich media background having practiced as a journalist for the last seven years in print media. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations and is currently working as a self-taught photographer and journalist with the DailyNews, Kasane where she reports on a diverse range of issues including youth empowerment, gender-based violence, and the environmental. She is also the head of department of Information Services, supervising a staff of eight as well as mentoring and coaching youth freelancers engaged by the publication on an annual basis. Ludo is a lifelong member of the Red-Cross Society and member of the Kasane Library committee, which seeks to promote literacy as well as document the history of Kasane for posterity. Upon her return she intends to work with orphans and vulnerable children, especially adolescent girls in the Chobe district, to empower them with life skills.
