Masedi Thata Kewamodimo

Masedi Thata Kewamodimo has three years experience in civil leadership and advocacy focusing on activism around HIV issues. Masedi is an adolescent and youth advocate working with various NGOs, international organizations, media houses and various government offices where she focuses on empowering adolescents and young people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Masedi is currently completing her BA Degree in Tourism Management at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Botswana. Masedi is driven by her personal experience with HIV/AIDS from a young age, so she strives to ease the emotional and psychological pain of children affected by it. Upon conclusion of the fellowship, Masedi intends on working with a Sentebale organization where she will focus on helping adolescents infected by HIV. Sentebale was co-founded by His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales in Lesotho in 2006. In 2016, Sentebale extended its operations to Botswana. Masedi has been engaged as a volunteer since 2016.
