Koketso Leshope

Koketso Leshope is passionate about the economic uplift of Africa coupled with a social impact through entrepreneurial strategies. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and a honors post-graduate degree in Management specializing in Entrepreneurship, from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She is a Co-Founder of Xylo, an online platform that sells hand made genuine leather bags in Cape Town, which was awarded a University of Cape Town (UCT) Genesis Award for academic excellence, outstanding business model, and most innovative product. In Botswana, she was a key resource in pioneering a new initiative called BUA , an on-line platform that allows Batswana to report their customer service experiences. Koketso is a 2016 Brightest Young Minds in Africa alumni, making her a member of one of Africa’s most driven networks designed to find solutions relevant to social, cultural or economic challenges. Currently, she is dedicated to merging her entrepreneurial skills with a social impact, through an association she co-founded called Minds For Tomorrow, dedicated to “shaping a generation of changemakers”.
