Rosemary Mothusi

Rosemary Mothusi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from University of Western Cape, South Africa. She has seven years’ experience as a clinical dietitian working with hospitals including Sekgoma Memorial Hospital, Selebi Phikwe Government Hospital and currently for Athlone Hospital. Her duties include providing nutritional assessment, developing diet plans to address nutritional assessment findings, and providing nutrition counseling. She has shown major interest in pediatric nutrition and working with youth with diabetes. Rosemary has been part of an accreditation process that included developing and monitoring implementation of the Policies and Procedure for Dietetics as well as developing performance indicators and monitoring them periodically. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Rosemary plans to continue with her work as a dietitian with more involvement in the local community with an effort to improve the nutritional status of children.
