Candice Muir

Candice Muir is a fine artist, teacher and Botswana Qualifications Authority accredited trainer. Candice is the training director and co-owner of The Art of Etiquette, a training consultant company in Gaborone, Botswana. She holds a degree in Fine Art from the University of Johannesburg, a post-graduate certificate in Teaching and Training and has completed numerous short professional courses in Business and Disability Etiquette. Her varied background in design, arts and culture has provided the perfect foundation for facilitating creative, interactive workshops. Candice is passionate about people with disabilities and their great untapped potential in the workplace. She volunteers in her community by giving motivational talks on living positively with a disability, and also mentors the parents of children with disabilities. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Candice plans to initiate a national campaign on changing attitudes towards disabilities, helping to create an all-inclusive Botswana.
