Dumisani Funekile Ntini

Dumisani Funekile Ntini is a driven public servant with five years’ experience in policy, strategy, and financial markets. He is currently the assistant registrar of the Quantity Surveyors’ Registration Council, a statutory body established by the Quantity Surveyors’ Registration Act, under Botswana’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing Development. He is responsible for the parastatal’s administrative functions. He is also a passionate community leader who is a founding member and the company secretary of the Disability Resources and Advocacy Center, which promotes the interests of people with disabilities and seeks to reduce barriers impeding their participation in society. He holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Botswana, an international certificate in Wealth Management, and a postgraduate certificate in Public Sector Procurement (Tender Process Management). He also has training in corporate governance and financial markets, having been a graduate trainee in product development at the Botswana Stock Exchange. Youth empowerment is an issue close to his heart. Dumisani is a thought leader and motivational speaker with a considerable following on BigBudget, his YouTube and Facebook account. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he aims to contribute towards national economic development by applying his newly gained policy formulation and implementation skills.
