Lame Charmaine Olebile

Lame Olebile is a pan-Africanist feminist with experience in advocacy on LGBT and women’s rights issues, both locally and internationally. She is the human rights projects officer for the Ngamiland Coalition of NGOs (NCONGO), where she supports the implementation of human rights initiatives by member organizations in the Ngamiland district. She is an adviser for the Young Feminist Fund (FRIDA), a fund dedicated to providing flexible, global funding for young feminist-led organisations. Lame holds a degree in Public Administration and Political Science. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Politics. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Lame intends on intensifying her human rights advocacy efforts, expanding the network of leadership in social justice issues and contributing to literature on human rights discourses in Botswana.
