Lechani Wotho
Lechani Wotho is an LLB graduate from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She currently works for the Administration of Justice (AOJ) as a magistrate in her home country, Botswana. Her experience with the courts extends over a period of three years, where she began as a research assistant to a high court judge. Lechani currently mans the maintenance court (family court) where she primarily presides over matters relating to child support. Lechani holds a certificate in Enterprise Risk Management, which has taught her the importance of being risk conscious in today’s world. She is, amongst other things, largely involved with Foundation Africa International (FAI), a nonprofit organization (of which she is a founding member), which largely aims at educating and encouraging young Africans to take up leadership roles in their respective nations. On her return home, Lechani aims to catapult FAI to greater heights.
