M Boukari Ouedraogo

M. Boukari Ouedraogo has over twelve years of experience in the social work sector. Eleven of those years were spent at the Ministry of Social Affairs. Currently, Boukari is the child-sensitive social protection technical adviser at Save the Children International Burkina Faso, where he designs, implements, and produces social protection advocacy programs. Boukari is active in his community as a member of the National Association of Social Affair Administrators and Center for Study and Counseling in Social Work, where he responsible for communications. He is also a member of two additional community associations. He holds a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Ouagadougou focused on Development and senior executive state diploma in Social Work from the National Institute of Training in Social Work. M Boukari Ouedraogo is driven by his commitment to promoting social, economic justice to helping poor households satisfy their basic needs. He is also motivated to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Upon completion of Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), Boukari plans to build a stronger social protection system in his country and participate in community development.
