Conrad Afumbom Chia

Conrad has over two years’ experience working in environmental management and occupational health and safety. He is the program coordinator at Cameroon Coastal and Environmental Sustainability Network, where he designs and coordinates environmental programs for local communities. Conrad Afumbom Chia has also been working at Essoka Security as HSE intern and occasionally participates in The Green’s radio talk show on environmental protection. Conrad holds a Master’s degree in Quality Health Safety and Environmental Management from the University of Douala in Cameroon, is competent in the use of Microsoft office programs, and a native English speaker with intermediate proficiency in French. Upon completion of the Fellowship, he intends to initiate the concept of pre-sorting waste in local community schools and institutions in Cameroon.
