Adidja Amani

Adidja Amani

Fulbright alumna and public health physician, Adidja Amani is a passionate advocate for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health. Adidja has more than nine years’ experience at policy level at the Ministry of Public Health in Cameroon and at managerial level within the private sector, where she oversaw 23 countries in Africa. Adidja Amani is the author of the book, The Health Workers Crises In Cameroon, and has also authored several technical reports on public health. Adidja is heavily involved in community and volunteer work. As the president of several associations in Cameroon and abroad, she frequently headlines leadership and empowerment conferences. She is a member of several professional associations including the Global Health Workforce Alliance, the Cameroon Women Medical Council, and the consortium of women researchers. She is a reviewer of the WHO Bulletin in French and a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Fulbright and the Weston.
