Kizita Mah Fitemi Forgwe

Kizita Mah Fitemi Forgwe has eight years progressive experience working in policy development, systems strengthening, technical assistance provision for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, capacity development, and partnership management. She has worked on social and economic development programs with a focus on addressing the needs and rights of the most vulnerable groups such as children and people with disabilities. Kizita Mah Fitemi Forgwe currently serves as Program Officer with the Sightsavers Cameroon office where she manages human resource development for eye health, social inclusion and inclusive education for children with disabilities programs, and conducts advocacy with government for the development of disability friendly policies and services. Kizita holds a bachelor’s of law degree and a master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action. Upon completing the Washington Fellowship program, she plans to share acquired knowledge and skills with youth and advocate for more protection of vulnerable populations through the development of inclusive policies.
