Lazare Songue Momisse

Lazare Songue has almost five years of experience in manufacturing and nine years in educational training. Lazare is currently production manager at CHOCOCAM, where he effectively leads a team of 120 workers to produce sweets and bubblegum. He is also co-founder of Intelligentsia Corporation, where he coaches and trains more than 3,000 Cameroonian high-school students for entrance into the most prestigious universities nationwide. Lazare holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the National Advanced School of Engineering in Yaounde, Cameroon, where he focused on industrial maintenance, environment, energetics, and production management. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Lazare plans to resign from his position and focus on Intelligentsia by opening a mentorship and startup incubator for young graduates. In the long term, he plans to implement two projects, namely an agricultural transformation unit and a water-supply and treatment unit for rural communities.
