Sylvie Adjoua Aouro Ekanza

Sylvie Adjoua Aouro Ekanza enjoyed a tremendous 13 year career in the oil industry after which, and since March 2015, she has been manager of a financial engineering firm, SIFIAC International. Sylvie Adjoua Aouro Ekanza was previously trade executive at the Société Multinationale de Bitumes (SMB) and gained versatile experience in office administration, events management, and marketing working for four oil entities – namely SMB, Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage (SIR), the Special Unit on Commodities of UNCTAD/CNUCED, and the African Refiners Association (ARA). She is active in her community and working on projects to eradicate obstetric fistula and promote girls’ education with Innerwheel International, and to empower Ivorian women with Leadafricaines. She is developing her communication and leadership skills with Toastmasters International and after the Fellowship, expects to be a more skillful manager of SIFIAC and will dedicate herself to developing rural zones, and mentoring youth and women in self-development and leadership.
