Bintou Cisse

Cisse Bintou is a young activist who advocates for children, girls, and women in Africa. Bintou Cisse has a bachelor’s degree but recognizes the challenges that girls have in accessing quality education. After interning at the World Bank, she created No Girls Left Behind, a project which supports girls’ education through income generating activities. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she aims to provide education and empowerment to girls and women through her Empowering Women in Africa association.
