Kombo Ehouman Fabienne N’Guessan

Kombo Ehouman Fabienne N’Guessan has two years of experience working in public administration. In 2012, she served as an intern at the Ministry of Family, Women, and Children Affairs and in 2013 she transferred to the Cabinet of the Minister of Health and the Fight against AIDS as a Research officer. Kombo Ehouman Fabienne N’Guessan is also a member of the Ministry’s technical committee for the implementation of universal health coverage in Cote d’Ivoire. She has been active in the humanitarian and social development sector where she has volunteered in a literacy centre for children in India, elaborated a pilot project on conservation agriculture as a source of revenue for women in rural areas of Kenya, and conducted a study on women traders in the informal sector of Uganda. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Waterloo in Canada and a master’s in Development Studies at the University of Kwazulu Natal, in Durban, South Africa. After she returns from the Washington Fellowship Program, she intends to implement a project with other Fellows to fight against child mortality and promoting the improvement of maternal health.
