Yannick Rudahindwa Zagabe
Yannick Zagabe Rudahindwa is an experienced IT Network Engineer. Yannick Rudahindwa Zagabe has more than 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, managing and troubleshooting complex corporate networks in the mining industry of the Katanga Province in Democratic Republic of Congo. He holds a BSc degree in Information Technology from Universite Liberte in Lubumbashi. In 2016, Yannick changed careers from IT engineering to IT entrepreneurship in co-founding Cedya Systems with his friend Cedrick Ngandu Kalala, and in joining the board and management body of Kollynet Consulting. These two IT startups in Lubumbashi aim to improve lives of local communities through the use of local IT solutions (Cedya Systems) and to be a long term strategic partner for national companies in need of IT outsourcing solutions (Kollynet Consuting). Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Yannick has a vision of developing a Congolese industry built upon IT technologies and solutions, and of giving his country an alternative economy structure to rely on, other than the traditional mining industry.
