Bilan Mohamoud Mohamed

Bilan Mohamoud Mohamed has seven years’ experience as Environment Health Safety and Quality Coordinator (EHSQ) in an oil and gas terminal in Djibouti. Bilan Mohamoud Mohamed works in Horizon Djibouti Terminal, where she works closely with the Operations and Maintenance departments and provides operational supports and trainings regarding EHSQ to the field workforce. She is also in charge of monitoring the compliance with international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHA 18001. Bilan Mohamoud holds an engineering degree in Material Sciences from Polytechnique Engineering School in Lille, France where she focused on polymers and quality. She strengthened her skills during an exchange program in Laval University, Quebec (Canada). Bilan Mohamoud is committed to safety at work and promotes environment protection related to waste generation and pollution prevention in the oil and gas industry. Upon completion of the Mandela Fellowship program(Africa), Bilan plans to pursue her works on environment and safety promotion.
