Leticia Carmen Asumu Bengo
Leticia Carmen Asumu Bengohas over two years’ experience working in different development programs within the framework of an existing cooperation between Equatorial Guinea and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Leticia Carmen Asumu Bengo works as program specialist for the UNDP, where her tasks focus on formulating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating a range of projects for the benefit of local communities. Leticia has a Master’s degree in European Union from the Royal Institute of Higher European Studies, Zaragoza (Spain) where she had the opportunity to learn more about the European Union and other international organizations, and to apply the lessons learned to the African context. After completing the Fellowship, Leticia wants to promote the autonomy of individuals and communities. She also wants to support the educational institutions, strengthen the capacities of teachers in all levels, and encourage women to give priority to their own and their children’s education.
