Ahmedin Mohammed Ahmed
Ahmedin Mohammed Ahmed has over five years’ experience in the education sector, specifically focusing on teaching and administering higher education institutions. Ahmedin received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from the Dalian University of Technology, where he focused on designing and implementing data management algorithms for wireless networking environments. Ahmedin is currently serving as scientific director at Kombolcha Institute of Technology in Ethiopia, where he focuses on leading the day-to-day operations of the institute and implementing the institute’s strategic plan. Besides his administrative position, Ahmedin Mohammed Ahmed is an assistant professor of Software and Network Engineering, teaching post-graduate and Ph.D. students in Ethiopia and abroad. Ahmedin has authored or co-authored over 20 research papers in reputable international journals and for conferences. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Ahmedin plans to continue strengthening the higher education system. He also wants to continue contributing to society by initiating, leading, and working on youth empowerment projects.
