Juan De Lascurain

Juan de Lascurain is a social entrepeneur – designer who started Dream Big in 2008 with the purpose of inspiring people to follow their dreams. His background had ben as a tennis player and former triathlete and one day while doodling on a napkin a lady saw him and told him he needed to paint. Without any prior experience he started painting and discovered a new talent.

He then decided to pursue his dream of creating a brand that would expand into all the world. Most pople told him he was crazy, that artists didn´t make money; but he continued with his vision. After overcoming many obstacles, from running out of money, to living at a youth hostel. He started selling some of his notebooks at a local Starbucks. Today his more than 40 products can b found in diffrent countries and include partenrhips with big name bands such as Kleenex. He also works with foundations that manufacture some of his products as well as developing new programs in underdeveloped countries to work with youth. He is also a speaker in many conferences and expos around the world.
