Tsehaynew Ademe Gebrehiwot
Tsehaynew Gebrehiwot is the founder and manager of a philanthropic organization that provides education and training services to people with disabilities. He became blind when he was five-years-old due to a harmful cultural practice that still exists in Ethiopia. Tsehaynew Ademe Gebrehiwot holds a bachelor’s degree in Educational Planning and Management and has participated in various training programs. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he aims to empower 5,000 children with disabilities in leadership skills to encourage their continued education. He also hopes to attain a master’s degree.
