Njogou Jeng
Njogou Jeng is a Program Assistant for the United Nations World Food Programme. In his capacity as resilient and lively focal person for the country office, Njogou supports the formulation and implementation of emergency cash and food assistance to people in need. Njogou Jeng also volunteers with the Gambia Red Cross Society as the National Youth Chairperson working with approximately 20,000 other volunteers in alleviating human suffering. Njogou initiated and implemented a series of new ideas and programs affecting young people, women and communities including health, first aid, humanitarian diplomacy, migration, resource mobilization, and community participation. Njogou’s long term goal is to become an expert in international development and disaster risk management, thus contributing to sustainable national development through community service.
