Aji Rohey Jeng
Aji Rohey Jeng has over five years’ work experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors. Currently, Aji Rohey Jeng works as the training and regional coordinator for a startup incubator in Gambia, where she facilitates and leads all training and regional project-management activities including coordination and supervision of training, coaching and mentorship to startups, management of finances, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation. Aji Rohey earned a bachelor’s degree in Management and an advanced diploma in Business Studies from the University of Gambia (Africa) and Institute of Commercial Management UK respectively. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she plans to continue unleashing the potential of young people, encouraging them to start and grow their own businesses and become job creators instead of job hunters. She also intends to establish a home staffing business with the potential of employing over 50 Gambians within the first year of operations.
