Frederick Sefa Ameyaw

Frederick Sefa Ameyaw is a naval officer with over ten years’ experience in the Ghana Navy. Currently, Frederick is the navigation officer onboard Ghana Navy Ship Garinga, which conducts regular patrols in Ghana’s maritime domain to ensure security and safety of shipping, offshore oil and gas installations, and fisheries. Frederick holds a Bachelor of Information Technology with a focus on Software Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Occupational Safety and Health Risk Management from the Open University in Malaysia. Frederick Sefa Ameyaw is driven his commitment to ensuring maritime safety and security through military service. He also advocates for collaboration among stakeholder agencies to promote maritime safety. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Frederick plans to promote collaboration among maritime agencies through leadership training and information exchange.
