Shadrack Kwadwo Amponsah

Shadrack Kwadwo Amponsah has over six years of field and research experience in agricultural mechanization. Currently, Shadrack is a research scientist with the Crops Research Institute, where he is responsible for the development of sound, demand-driven technologies for reducing unnecessary labor and postharvest losses in agricultural production. Shadrack Kwadwo Amponsah is also as a part-time lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, where he obtained his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in Agricultural Engineering. He aspires to be an astute international researcher and consultant in agricultural mechanization. He also wants to be a role model for and mentor to students in his community. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Shadrack hopes to use his acquired skills, knowledge, and experience to improve and impact Ghana’s agricultural mechanization sector positively.
