Kelvin Williams Asuma

Kelvin is a social justice and sustainable development advocate. He is currently the assistant natural resources officer for the Bui Power Authority (BPA), managers of the Bui Dam. He is passionate about the development and well-being of displaced people, such as those affected by development-induced involuntary resettlement. At BPA, he is working on a two-year livelihood project benefitting over 2,000 people. Kelvin Williams Asuma is motivated to find an alternative to displacing communities for development projects in Ghana.Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Kelvin plans to apply his new gained skills to implement livelihood projects for displaced communities, focusing on women and vulnerable populations. He also hopes to contribute to the management natural resources and investment opportunities for the Bui Power Authority.
