Anthony Seth Eshun

Anthony Seth Eshun has four years’ experience in providing quality health care for children in rural communities in Ghana. As a medical doctor and founder of The Premies Focus Group, Anthony educates and empowers mothers to provide efficient home-care for their premature babies. He is also involved in voluntary screening and vaccination campaigns for children. Anthony Seth Eshun holds bachelor’s degrees in Human Biology and Medicine and Surgery from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology. Anthony is committed to enhancing the survival rates of babies born prematurely in rural communities to poor mother who cannot afford tertiary health care for their babies. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Anthony intends to raise awareness on prematurity, empower mothers with premature babies, and mentor health workers in rural communities across Ghana to adopt a holistic care plan for preterm babies, with a particular focus on home-care.
