Solomon Faakye

Solomon Faakye

Solomon Faakye is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He works as a legal officer for the University of Cape Coast. He also has additional responsibility as the coordinator for Institutional Advancement services, a role that requires him to initiate strategic partnership with industry, develop individual and corporate networks, and draw financial resources. Solomon has degrees from the University of Ghana (BA, LLB), joint degrees from Norway (Oslo), Finland (Tampere), and Portugal (Aviero), and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Tromso. Solomon Faakye also teaches as a sessional lecturer at undergraduate and graduate levels. Solomon’s goal for the Mandela Washington Fellowship is to develop skills and networks that can enable him to effectively contribute to a more efficient, effective, and sustainable higher-education system.
