Mamadou Bailo Barry

Mamadou Bailo Barryhas over seven years of experience in various fields including teaching English, sales and business, youth employment and entrepreneurship as well as humanitarian responses. Holding a master’s degree in Education from the English language department of the University of Conakry, Mamadou is currently a local UN staff member working to save lives and to promote the rights of the most vulnerable children on behalf of UNICEF. As emergency officer in the ebola response, Mamadou Bailo Barry does planning, monitoring, and reporting on UNICEF activities, focusing on social mobilizations and access to basic services. Mamadou has previously worked for UNIDO and the World Food Program. Mamadou was elected for two positions in Les Amis du Future, a local youth NGO: for the executive bureau and now as member of the board. This local organization is committed to improving basic education through access to books and school contests, new technology and citizenship. Stayed in Africa.
