Sheila Achieng Awuor
Sheila Achieng Awuor has over 3 years of experience in volunteering, specifically focusing on transformational leadership. Sheila Achieng Awuor is a co-founder and a key implementer for Jabulani Youths For Transformation, where she focuses on children and youth empowerment using several practical and daily encounters to improve the current and future lives of those she works with. Sheila holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya. There, she focused on disciplines inclined towards food security and post-harvest management practices to help improve her country’s current situation. Sheila is committed to ensuring that the future generation in her country is well equipped with both manual and educational skills to help better themselves and society. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Sheila plans to continue with her work in children and youth empowerment and, if possible, begin the process to institutionalize Jabulani to get the most out of it and accomplish its key objectives.
