Christine Mbuve Kakuu

Christine Mbuve Kakuu has over ten years’ combined experience in higher education and community development evaluation focused on the rehabilitation of prisoners. Currently, Christine is an independent consultant, as well as a research assistant focusing on monitoring and evaluation of projects in education, county government, disability, maternal and child health, and sexual reproductive health. Christine Mbuve Kakuu is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics at Kenyatta University. Her dissertation is focused on body image among adolescents. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in the same field. Christine is driven by her commitment to increasing the capacity of organizations through ensuring project relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Christine plans to continue her work in monitoring and evaluation and establish a social enterprise with a focus on nutrition.
