John Kubai M’Akwalu

John Kubai M’akwalu is an entrepreneur, disability rights advocate, and motivational speaker. John Kubai M’Akwalu holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Nairobi. John has seven years of experience as a teacher and motivational speaker. He is a teacher employed by the government of Kenya to teach Swahili, English, social studies, and Christian religious education in Lailuba Primary School. He is the director of Vision Bright Investments and chairperson of Disability Empowering Education Development Initiative. He educates the community on their constitutional rights and self-empowerment through writing project proposals to private/government funding agencies. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he aspires to open print and electronic media houses to advance his advocacy agenda.
